Blufin S.p.A. was established in 1977 by Anna Molinari and her husband Gianpaolo Tarabini. The Italian fashion house is best known for their main brand Blumarine, which was named for the couple’s love of the sea. The brand also encompasses Miss Blumarine for 8-14 year old girls, Blugirl for young women, and the pret à porter luxury line Anna Molinari. In 2019, Nicola Borgnano replaced Molinari as creative director, stating “My Blumarine is more dirty, bitchy, sexier.” The current collections embody a throwback to the Y2K era, featuring shades of pinks and pastels, faux fur bags, low rise pants, see-through baby tees, and butterflies.
